Max
Hi, my name is Max. I am a 4 year old weimaraner. My mom got me from the Heartland Weimaraner Rescue when I was 8 months old. I am kind of intense and I guess my first owner couldn’t handle me. My mom is intense too. We make a pretty good pair.

Rough night?

I sure am glad it’s Spring. Mama has been taking me for more walks. . .and even to the dog park. It was a long winter and I was really tired of the ice in my yard. Now it’s all grassy. The only trouble is, some guy keeps coming to cut my grassy down, just when it gets tall enough for me to hide & play in. I need to talk to Mama about that. Oh, and I have a girlfriend. She is a basset hound who moved in two doors down. She sings to me every day. I will try to get Mama to post a picture of her soon.

Today Mom gave me a special treat, the NUTTER jar! I love NUTTER. In fact, I should warn you now – don’t ever say NUTTER – you have to spell it in front of me . . . or give me some. Usually I only get NUTTER in my kong, but Mom let me have her empty jar today. It was hours of fun. . . but she took it away when it got sharp (silly humans).

NUTTER makes me smile!

Wowser, we got a package. I could hardly wait for mom to take the junk out of the box and GIVE ME THE BOX. I am not sure why you humans put junk in the boxes, it just gets in the way of what boxes were intended for. . .eating.

He is certainly focused. This afternoon he is ‘focusing’ on the fact that the neighbors are having a room added on. They have 10 construction workers and a bunch of machines over there . . . and no one asked Max’s permission for this upheaval! He get’s no respect.
